SweepstakeReport · Confidential briefing

Why these grades.

Letter scores from A+ to F, and the 100-point editorial totals, for fifteen no-purchase-entry sweepstakes. Researched from official rules and public records on August 31, 2026. Nothing here is a poll or a prediction of your odds. Ownership disclosure: the publisher of this site, Luck Incorporated LLC, operates Chance Infinite, ranked below; it is graded on the same rubric as every other listing, with every deduction shown. Ties on the 100-point total are broken by free-entry purity, then rules transparency.

SweepstakeReport · Free-entry rankings · Dark brief · 18+ · Void where prohibited

Method

How the scores were decided

We score only promotions that publish a genuine no-purchase / free alternate method of entry. Each score is editorial, not a poll. We do not invent dollar amounts, user counts, or star ratings. If a public source is thin, the score falls.

Two marks sit on every listing. The letter grade is a judgment of operator credibility and how easy the no-purchase path really is. The 100-point total is a weighted editorial score on five axes. If a public source was thin, the score fell. We did not invent prize amounts, user counts, quotes, or star ratings. App Store samples of five ratings were ignored.

Letter rubric

A+ / A / A−
Established operator, easy no-purchase entry, credible prizes, clean public record.
B+ / B / B−
Legitimate NPN, but smaller prizes, seasonal or not always open, or extra friction (app, TV, login).
C+ / C / C−
Still a real NPN program, but a documented regulatory or dark-pattern history, or heavy purchase-adjacent marketing.
D / F
Not listed. Fake, illegal, or purchase-required. Gold-coin casinos (Chumba, Pulsz, McLuck, Stake.us, Fortune Coins, LuckyLand) are out.

100-point weights

How deductions work

A deduction is the gap between an axis maximum and the score we gave. If an axis is full marks, we say so — that means the sources we opened did not give us a reason to dock it. We do not deduct for rumors, for App Store samples of five ratings, or for prize figures we did not read in official rules. Each listing’s “Where points came off” block names the missing points and the public fact that caused them.

What we opened: official rules pages and PDFs, operator sites, the FTC PCH press release (June 27, 2023), the Chance Infinite App Store listing plus luckincorporated.com (winners, rules, provably-fair), and historical reporting on the 2001 Reader’s Digest multi-state AG settlement. Retrieval date for every source: August 31, 2026.

Seasonal programs that were closed still rank if they are long-running and documented. Chance Infinite is scored as a first-class entry: it leads on free-entry purity; prize credibility is scored against two published $100 winners, not a hypothetical future pool.

HGTV Dream Home Giveaway

Discovery Communications, LLC · 2026 entry window closed February 13, 2026. Historically an annual winter promotion.

A

Why this gradeSponsored by Discovery Communications, LLC with published 2026 official rules (NPN; 21+; 12/16/25–2/13/26). Free daily entry at HGTV.com and FoodNetwork.com. Long-running televised giveaway of a real home plus cash — a public, checkable prize. Not A+ because the window is seasonal, winners can owe large taxes, and entry involves marketing emails plus winner verification/publicity steps. Source: hgtv.com Dream Home rules.

How we decidedRanks first because prize credibility and operator transparency are unusually high for a consumer sweepstakes: ARV, cash option, drawing date, and winner-list location are all in the official rules. Free entry is real but not the purest on this list — daily online forms only, 21+, no mail-in method in the 2026 rules we read.

Where points came off

Free-entry purity22/30

−8 of 30. Free daily forms on HGTV.com and FoodNetwork.com are real, but the 2026 rules we read had no mail-in AMOE. Entry is 21+ only. Optional marketing email sits next to the form.

Rules transparency18/20

−2 of 20. Official rules list ARV, cash option, drawing date, and where winners are published. Small dock because winner verification includes a background check and publicity / possible on-camera visit that a skimming entrant can miss.

Prize credibility20/20

No deduction (20/20). 2026 rules itemized a Charlotte home (ARV $2,348,933) plus $100,000, with a $750,000 cash option. HGTV later named Eileen Reimer of Atlanta as the 2026 winner.

Operator track record15/15

No deduction (15/15). Discovery Communications / HGTV is a long-running, televised giveaway with a public winner announcement.

Entry experience11/15

−4 of 15. Seasonal window (closed Feb 13, 2026), 21+ gate, marketing emails, and a winner path that can include an ambush-style visit. Free, but not frictionless.

Free entry: No purchase necessary. During the published window, enter online once per day on HGTV.com and once per day on FoodNetwork.com by completing the official form. Official rules did not describe a mail-in AMOE. Consenting to marketing email is optional and does not improve odds.

Prize: House plus cash (or cash option). Official rules for the 2026 edition listed a Charlotte, North Carolina home (ARV $2,348,933) plus $100,000 by electronic transfer, with a $750,000 cash option in lieu of the house. HGTV later published Eileen Reimer of Atlanta as the 2026 winner.

HGTV Smart Home Sweepstakes

Discovery Communications, LLC · 2026 entry window ran April 21, 2026 through June 19, 2026. Historically a spring/summer companion to Dream Home.

A-

Why this gradeSame sponsor and NPN structure as Dream Home; the official rules itemize the prize (home ARV $1,288,796 + $100,000 by electronic funds transfer; total ARV $1,388,796; $600,000 cash option). 2026 entry window was Apr 21–Jun 19 and is closed. Slightly less flagship than Dream Home; same 21+/tax caveats. Source: hgtv.com Smart Home rules.

How we decidedStructurally almost identical to Dream Home: same sponsor, same NPN structure, full official rules with an itemized ARV. It trails Dream Home mainly because the 2026 window is closed and the daily-form free path carries the same friction.

Where points came off

Free-entry purity22/30

−8 of 30. Same structure as Dream Home: daily online forms, 21+, no mail-in method in the 2026 rules we read.

Rules transparency20/20

No deduction (20/20). Full official rules with NPN language, the entry window, and an itemized ARV in the rules body.

Prize credibility20/20

No deduction (20/20). The 2026 rules itemize the grand prize: home ARV $1,288,796 plus $100,000 awarded by electronic funds transfer, total ARV $1,388,796, with a $600,000 cash option in lieu of the home.

Operator track record14/15

−1 of 15. Same Discovery operator as Dream Home. Slight dock as the less-flagship companion program, not a separate trust problem.

Entry experience7/15

−8 of 15. 2026 window ran Apr 21–Jun 19 and is closed. Seasonal, 21+, same form friction, and not currently enterable.

Free entry: No purchase necessary. Online entry on HGTV.com and FoodNetwork.com during the published window, one entry per person per site per day. Same family of rules as Dream Home.

Prize: House plus cash. The 2026 official rules itemize the grand prize: a home in Apopka, Florida (ARV $1,288,796) plus $100,000 awarded by electronic funds transfer, total ARV $1,388,796, with a $600,000 cash option in lieu of the home.

AARP Rewards Sweepstakes

AARP · Rotating monthly sweepstakes and instant-win games through AARP Rewards. Individual promotions open and close on their own calendars.

A-

Why this gradeAARP publishes NPN official rules. A free aarp.org account is enough — paid AARP membership is not required to enter Rewards sweeps. Points from quizzes, videos, and games can be redeemed for entries. Not A because prizes rotate (no single standing jackpot), some promotions are skill contests, and members get extra points. Sources: sweeps.aarp.org rules PDFs; aarp.org/rewards.

How we decidedHigh on free-entry purity because AARP says in public that neither a purchase nor points are required, and because a free account is enough to start. Prize credibility is scored as a program, not a single jackpot — we will not invent a current grand-prize figure.

Where points came off

Free-entry purity25/30

−5 of 30. A free aarp.org account is enough; paid membership is not required. Docked because membership marketing sits next to the hub, and points can be redeemed for extra entries even though official rules also describe an AMOE.

Rules transparency16/20

−4 of 20. Each drawing has its own rules PDF. The Rewards catalog rotates, so there is no single always-on rules page for the whole program.

Prize credibility14/20

−6 of 20. We opened named 2026 rules ($26,000 Your Way; Invest in Your Nest $10K, ended Aug 21, 2026). We will not treat any of those figures as a live standing jackpot.

Operator track record14/15

−1 of 15. AARP is a well-known nonprofit operator with fraud-education pages. Tiny dock because the same hub also runs skill contests (photo/essay), which are easy to mix up with random-draw sweeps.

Entry experience12/15

−3 of 15. Account login, a rotating catalog you have to re-read, and a membership upsell adjacent to entry.

Free entry: Create a free AARP.org account (paid membership is not required for the account). AARP's sweepstakes hub states: no purchase or points necessary, with an alternate method of entry described in each promotion's official rules. Do not assume spending points is the only way in.

Prize: Rotating cash and prize packages. AARP publishes official rules per promotion. We verified NPN language on named 2026 promotions including the $26,000 Your Way Sweepstakes (rules PDF) and the Invest in Your Nest $10K Sweepstakes (ended August 21, 2026). We are not treating any one prize amount as currently live unless you open the current Rewards catalog.

Chance Infinite

Luck Incorporated LLC · Monthly contests. Contest 3 was listed as live on luckincorporated.com/winners as of August 31, 2026 (started August 22, 2026).

A-

OwnershipThis listing is the publisher reviewing its own product: SweepstakeReport is published by Luck Incorporated LLC, the operator of Chance Infinite. Same rubric, every deduction shown; verify each claim against the sources below.

Why this gradeLuckinc LLC / Luck Inc. Nothing to buy: tickets are earned (games, ads, surveys, missions), never sold. Official rules, public winner list, and a commit-reveal draw you can verify. Published record: Contest 1 @sketchyechey $100 (334 entries, drawn Jul 21, 2026); Contest 2 @DelDad $100 (4,616 entries, drawn Aug 21, 2026); Contest 3 live as of Aug 22, 2026. Prize floor $100 (operator-stated, from the FAQ; not a term of the official rules); half of ad revenue funds the pool. Not A/A+ because only two completed contests so far, both at the $100 minimum, and the App Store lists extra countries while luckincorporated.com rules say U.S. 18+ only. Do not cite App Store star ratings (only 5 ratings). Sources: luckincorporated.com/winners, /sweepstakes-rules; App Store listing.

How we decidedThe purest free-entry model on this list — nothing to buy, tickets cannot be purchased, and the operator says a purchase would not apply anyway. Transparency of the draw is unusually specific (HMAC-SHA256 commit-reveal, public winner record). Prize credibility is scored honestly against the published $100 winners, not against a hypothetical future pool. Trust is scored as a new U.S. software company with little independent coverage outside its own site and store listing.

Where points came off

Free-entry purity30/30

No deduction (30/30). Tickets are earned (games, ads, surveys, missions) and never sold. No coin packs, subscriptions, or card on file — the purest free-entry model on this list.

Rules transparency18/20

−2 of 20. Commit-reveal draw and a public winner list are unusually specific. Docked because the App Store listing names extra countries (Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, Germany) while luckincorporated.com official rules say U.S. 18+ only, and the operator discloses that the full entry ledger is not published.

Prize credibility10/20

−10 of 20. Public record as of Aug 31, 2026: two completed contests, both at the $100 minimum — Contest 1 @sketchyechey $100 (334 entries, Jul 21); Contest 2 @DelDad $100 (4,616 entries, Aug 21). Prize floor is $100; we do not invent a larger live pool.

Operator track record8/15

−7 of 15. Luckinc LLC is a new U.S. software company with little independent coverage outside its own site and store listing. Five App Store ratings were ignored, not counted as proof. Age rating 18+ for simulated gambling, contests, and ads.

Entry experience14/15

−1 of 15. No-pay path is clean. Small dock because in-app games include simulated-gambling titles (Plinko, Mines, Keno, Crash, etc.) that can make this look like a casino even though tickets have no cash value.

Free entry: No purchase necessary. Tickets are earned, never sold. There are no coin packs, subscriptions, or a card on file. Earn tickets by playing in-app games, watching ads, answering surveys, daily missions, daily streaks, and passive tickets while you play. Tickets have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, or transferred.

Prize: Cash, one winner per monthly contest. Operator states a $100 minimum prize that grows with advertising, because half of ad revenue is locked into the prize pool. Public winner record as of August 31, 2026: Contest 1, @sketchyechey, $100 (drawn July 21, 2026, 334 entries); Contest 2, @DelDad, $100 (drawn August 21, 2026, 4,616 entries). We do not invent a current pool size beyond what the live contest page shows on a given day.

Publishers Clearing House

PCH Digital, LLC · Ongoing giveaways at pch.com, plus mail-in free alternate entry. PCH stated new ownership as of July 15, 2025.

C+

Why this gradeReal NPN program with mail AMOE and a long history of awarding prizes. Grade is capped because on June 27, 2023 the FTC announced an $18.5 million settlement over dark patterns that made people think a purchase was required or would help them win, plus surprise shipping fees and deceptive emails. Shopping/memberships are still prominent. Impersonation scams are common (FTC consumer alert); the real PCH never asks for money to claim a prize. Sources: ftc.gov PCH press release June 27, 2023; pch.com official rules.

How we decidedMail-in free entry is a high-water mark for AMOE design, and the rules language is classic NPN. We dock transparency, trust, and UX because the site mixes shopping with entry, overlapping giveaways are hard to parse, and a 2023 FTC action required clearer free-entry paths and an acknowledgment that buying does not help you win.

Free-entry purity24/30

−6 of 30. Mail-in AMOE and “no purchase or fee necessary” are real. Docked because shopping, memberships, and “entries for dollars spent” sit next to that free path.

Rules transparency12/20

−8 of 20. Overlapping giveaways are hard to parse. Free entry has historically been easy to miss under sales messaging — the 2023 FTC order required clearer disclosures for that reason.

Prize credibility16/20

−4 of 20. Rules say prizes are guaranteed awarded as offered. We do not quote current jackpot or lifetime marketing totals we did not independently audit.

Operator track record10/15

−5 of 15. FTC press release, June 27, 2023: $18.5 million settlement over dark patterns that made people think a purchase was required or would help them win, plus surprise shipping fees and deceptive emails. Impersonation scams are common; the real PCH never asks for money to claim a prize.

Entry experience11/15

−4 of 15. Merchandise and paid memberships are still prominent next to entry, even after the order’s disclosure requirements.

Free entry: No purchase or fee necessary; a purchase will not improve an individual's chance of winning. Enter online at PCH digital properties, or use the free alternate method of entry described in the applicable giveaway's official rules. Where a mail-in method is offered, its instructions appear in that giveaway’s own official rules. Confirm the current mail instructions in the specific giveaway rules before you send anything.

Prize: Cash and merchandise giveaways. PCH's official rules state that prizes are guaranteed to be awarded as offered and that no purchase or fee is necessary. We do not quote a current jackpot or a lifetime prize total from marketing banners, because those figures change and we did not independently audit them.

C+

Why this gradeRecent rd.com giveaways (2024–2025) state NPN and that buying will not help. Grade is capped because of a 2001 multi-state attorneys general settlement over deceptive prize mailings that implied people had won or that purchases helped, which forced clearer Sweepstakes Facts disclosures. Impersonation scams also use the name. Sources: current RD official rules pages; historical AG settlement reporting.

How we decidedThe NPN language is unambiguous on the rules pages we read. We score it lower than PCH and AARP because the live U.S. program is fragmented, and we will not invent a current grand prize.

Where points came off

Free-entry purity22/30

−8 of 30. NPN language on current rules is unambiguous. Docked because some promotions are invitation-only mailings (no public form), and historical YES/NO envelopes mix entry with magazine sales.

Rules transparency13/20

−7 of 20. The live U.S. program is a stack of individual promotions rather than one always-on prize with one rules page. Country sites are separate programs.

Prize credibility12/20

−8 of 20. We verified book-club and device giveaways. We will not invent a current grand prize.

Operator track record12/15

−3 of 15. 2001 multi-state attorneys general settlement over deceptive prize mailings that implied people had won or that buying helped, which forced Sweepstakes Facts disclosures. Current rules are clearer; the history still counts. Impersonation scams also use the name.

Entry experience8/15

−7 of 15. Fragmented calendar, mail vs web, and a brand that scammers impersonate — easy to get lost even when the official path is free.

Free entry: No purchase, service subscription, or payment of any kind is necessary; a purchase will not improve chances of winning. Enter online as instructed on the specific promotion, or by the mail/email method printed in that promotion's official rules. Reader's Digest mailings historically include YES and NO envelopes; both are entries.

Prize: Varies by promotion (books, devices, cash in some markets). U.S. examples we verified include Reader's Digest Book Club book sweepstakes (Trusted Media Brands, Inc.). We are not treating any international Reader's Digest site (India, Canada, Australia) as the U.S. program.

Coca-Cola America250 Win the Weekend

The Coca-Cola Company · Abbreviated official rules on Coca-Cola’s America250 page: ends 11:59 pm ET on September 8, 2026, with 3 prize pools and 4 game prize pools. Certain prizes end earlier and are available only for certain ZIP codes.

B+

Why this gradeThe Coca-Cola Company. Official America250 page states NPN, 18+, 50 U.S./D.C./PR, ends Sep 8, 2026. Cruise disclosed as a $3,000 Carnival gift card plus $500 beverage gift card. Not A-range because some prizes are ZIP-limited, we opened abbreviated on-page rules rather than the full PDF body, and the prize is gift cards. Sources: coca-cola.com America250 celebrate page; coca-cola.com digital program rules hub.

How we decidedNamed sponsor, NPN on an official Coca-Cola page, and a disclosed $3,000+$500 gift-card structure. Ranked ninth because we opened abbreviated on-page rules rather than the full PDF text, prizes include ZIP limits, and the headline “cruise” is gift cards not a booked cabin.

Rules transparency14/20

−6 of 20. Abbreviated official rules on-site; full PDF text not lifted this pass.

Prize credibility13/20

−7 of 20. $3,000+$500 Carnival gift cards disclosed; gift cards not cash; ZIP limits.

Operator track record14/15

−1 of 15. Coca-Cola is a major long-running promotion sponsor.

Entry experience7/15

−8 of 15. Seasonal (ends Sep 8), multiple prize pools, ZIP decoding.

Free entry: No purchase necessary, per the abbreviated official rules on Coca-Cola’s America250 celebrate page (open to 50 U.S., D.C. and Puerto Rico, 18+). Open the Official Rules link on that page — also listed on Coca-Cola’s Digital Program Rules hub as “The Coca-Cola Win the Weekend Instant Win Game and Sweepstakes Official Rules” — for the complete free-entry path. We did not extract a mail-in AMOE from a full PDF body on this research pass.

Prize: Gift cards and weekend prizes (cruise awarded as Carnival gift cards). Coca-Cola’s official America250 celebrate page states: cruise awarded as a $3,000 Carnival gift card and non-alcoholic beverage package awarded as a $500 Carnival gift card. We did not lift additional prize ARVs from a full rules PDF on this pass, so we do not list aggregator trip packages or instant-win counts.

PEOPLE Magazine Sweepstakes

People Inc. Group / Dotdash Meredith Inc. · PEOPLE runs rotating NPN giveaways. As of August 31, 2026, a Food & Wine Classic Charleston package (PEOPLE app, free account) was advertised through September 17, 2026.

B

Why this gradePeople Inc. Group. NPN. Example 2026 promo: Food & Wine Classic Charleston package, 21+, ends Sep 17, 2026, exclusive to the free PEOPLE app. Legitimate publisher, but app-gated and rotating travel/prize packages rather than a standing flagship. Source: people.com sweepstakes page.

How we decidedNPN is on the page. We rank it mid-pack because promotions are short, sometimes app-gated, and we refuse to recycle old $25K marketing as if it were live.

Rules transparency14/20

−6 of 20. Promotions are short and rotating. We did not independently open a current $25,000 official-rules PDF, so we do not claim that prize is live.

Entry experience8/15

Free entry: No purchase necessary. Some 2026 giveaways are limited to registered users of the free PEOPLE app — create a free account and enter with the same email. Void where prohibited. Read that promotion's official rules for entry limits and end dates.

Why this gradeHallmark Media United States, LLC. Official rules we opened state NPN; free daily website form. Grand Prize ARV $9,152.14 and total ARV $20,091.31 are itemized. Taste of Home Reader Survey Sweepstakes

RDA Enthusiast Brands, LLC · Official rules are published. Entry period: October 23, 2026 through January 25, 2027.

B

Why this gradeRDA Enthusiast Brands, LLC. Current giveaways post NPN official rules (e.g. cookbook giveaways). Smaller merch prizes. Same parent family as Reader's Digest, so the mail-order history is a mild trust discount versus a Discovery/AARP flagship. Source: tasteofhome.com official rules pages.

How we decidedIncluded because the official rules are already public and the free-entry path is clean. Ranked fourteenth because the prize is a $25 cookbook and the window has not opened yet.

QVC Sweepstakes

QVC, Inc. · QVC runs periodic on-air Word of the Day sweepstakes. The Gold Medal Deals Sweepstakes we verified ran February 1–28, 2026 and is closed.

B-

Why this gradeQVC, Inc. NPN in Gold Medal Deals 2026 official rules (Feb 1–28, 2026; now closed). Free to enter, but you must watch QVC for a Word of the Day; prizes are often QVC account credit (e.g. $500). Shopping-network friction and no standing year-round cash flagship. Source: qvc.com Gold Medal Deals 2026 rules.

How we decidedNPN is explicit, operator is well known, prizes are modest store credit. Ranked last among this set because entry is tied to watching a telecast (or finding the word) and because the Word of the Day drawing we scored (Feb 1–28, 2026) was closed on our research date. QVC’s sweepstakes hub listed other, smaller live drawings that day which we did not score.

Free-entry purity18/30

−12 of 30. NPN is explicit in the Gold Medal Deals 2026 rules, and no QVC purchase is required. Docked because entry meant catching a Word of the Day on QVC telecasts — a worse AMOE than mail or email. Internet access required.

Rules transparency14/20

−6 of 20. Rules exist per promotion. There is no standing year-round cash contest. The Feb 1–28, 2026 drawing we verified is closed.

Prize credibility10/20

−10 of 20. Four weekly drawings of $500 QVC account credit (total ARV $2,000). Store credit, not cash, and typically must be spent at QVC.

Operator track record12/15

−3 of 15. QVC, Inc. is a known retailer. It is a shopping network first and a sweepstakes operator second.

Entry experience7/15

−8 of 15. Must watch TV (midnight / 9am / noon / 9pm ET in that promo) to get the word. Not always open. Credits are not cash.

Free entry: No purchase or payment of any kind necessary; a purchase will not increase chances of winning. For Gold Medal Deals: during the window, obtain the Word of the Day from participating QVC telecasts and submit the official online form. Internet access required. Limit one entry per person per day (seven per weekly drawing). There is no purchase of any QVC item required.

Prize: QVC account credits (varies by promotion). Gold Medal Deals 2026: four weekly drawings, each awarding $500 in QVC account credits (total ARV $2,000), per the official rules page.
