SweepstakeReport open data
The App Database, the State Database and the casino facts, as JSON files anyone may download and reuse under CC BY 4.0, with the terms for quoting them and what every field means.
Disclosure: this site's publisher, Luck Incorporated LLC, operates Chance Infinite, one of the apps in these databases. Its entry is built from its own documents under the same rules as every other entry. This is reference information, not legal advice; official rules and statutes control.
The three datasets
Each dataset is one JSON file, written by the same build as the pages it describes. Download a file with its link; the pages show the same facts one entry at a time.
App Database
One fact sheet per sweepstakes app and sweepstakes-casino brand we have researched: 36 entries, of them 6 ranked apps, 9 reviewed and not ranked, 3 defunct and 18 sweepstakes-casino brands. Each gives the operator, platforms, eligibility by state, the free method of entry, what it sells, how it makes money, prizes, the official rules and dated sources. Chance Infinite, ranked first, is operated by Luck Incorporated LLC, the publisher of this site.

State Database
One record per state and DC: statutes on online sweepstakes casinos, 2025 and 2026 bills, enforcement by regulators and attorneys general, general sweepstakes promotion rules and the regulator, each with its source. Each state has one status from a fixed list of six; a status describes the documents found, not whether any product is lawful in a state. States by status on October 14, 2026: 9 law in force; 1 law enacted, not yet in effect; 13 regulator or attorney-general action; 2 related law, not specific; 5 bills, no law; 21 nothing specific found.

Casino facts
The public facts of the 233 casinos the SweepstakeReport Terminal listed on October 16, 2026, as a signed-in Terminal user sees them: the free recurring reward and its reset, the daily estimate, the free sign-up bonus, the redemption rate and minimums, playthrough, minimum age and the states each casino's own terms exclude or limit, with sources and check dates, plus counts for each state and DC. Amounts are in each casino's own coin, never converted to dollars or added up. No grade or ranking.

Terms for reuse and quotation
The three files are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, share and adapt them, for any purpose, as long as you give credit as set out below. The license covers SweepstakeReport's compilation: which records and facts are included and how they are arranged, the structure and field names, and SweepstakeReport's own wording.
The SweepstakeReport Terminal's terms of use govern use of the Terminal app itself; these three files are licensed separately, under CC BY 4.0.
Not covered by the license
- Quoted text. Wording quoted from other documents is the source's own: operators' official rules, terms, help pages and store listings; statutes, bills and agency documents; review sites. It is included as attributed quotation, with its source, and any rights in it stay with its owner. In apps.json and states.json it is the text inside quotation marks, and the statute excerpts in laws[].quote; in casinos.json it is reward.amount_text and signup_bonus.quote, any text in quotation marks, and reward.streak, states.limited_note and redemption.limits_note, which can repeat the casino's own wording.
- Figures from review sites. A figure labelled “reported by review sites” (basis third-party in casinos.json: the daily estimate, the sign-up bonus and the redemption rate) is that site's figure, cited by its link, and is not relicensed here. Reporting from sources marked secondary, trade press used where no primary document exists, is cited the same way.
Giving credit. Name SweepstakeReport and its publisher, Luck Incorporated LLC; give the dataset's name and version; link its page or this one; link the license; and say if you changed the data. Keep the attribution of any quoted text or review-site figure you reuse. Reuse does not suggest that SweepstakeReport or Luck Incorporated LLC endorses you or your use.
Reading the data
- Facts change, and each fact carries the date it was read or checked. Quote a fact with its date, and a file with its version.
- A State Database status describes the documents found, not whether any product is lawful in a state. Statutes and court decisions control; this is reference information, not legal advice.
- The states an app or casino excludes come from its operator's own rules or terms; say so when you report them.
- Casino amounts are in each casino's own coin, never converted to dollars or added up. The one dollar figure is the published redemption rate (redeems_at).
- Scores, grades and ranks in apps.json (sr_status) are SweepstakeReport's editorial judgments on a public rubric; cite the ranking's research date with them.

Data dictionary
Every field of the three files: its type, what it means and where it comes from. A path is relative to one record (one entry of the file's list) unless it is a top-level key; by_state.<CODE> stands for any state. Types: text; integer; number; true/false; date (YYYY-MM-DD); URL; list; object; state code (a USPS code, DC included); slug (a record's slug in the same file); source id (an id in the same record's sources list). "or null" means the field can be empty.
apps.json
A record holds the app's name and SweepstakeReport status, its operator and any stated ownership, launch date, platforms, minimum age and U.S. eligibility, entry methods and free method of entry, what it sells and how it makes money, prizes, official rules and winner record, then research notes, open questions, dated sources and dated changes. Most facts point to their source by id.

Updates and versions
apps.json and states.json are rebuilt by the site's daily database update, and casinos.json whenever the casino facts are rebuilt from the SweepstakeReport Terminal's records. A file's version is the date of its newest check, recorded change or format change, so an unchanged file keeps its version. This site serves the current version only: keep the version with any copy. A change to a record is dated on its page, under Recent changes.
Each file states its version in its version field. On October 17, 2026 the three files stopped carrying the names of SweepstakeReport's saved copies of sources, the references of its update log and the SweepstakeReport Terminal's change-log ids, which only its own tools use, and the Terminal's brand-family grouping, which is not sourced entry by entry. No version is earlier than that day.
