WYN Sweep's FAQ says no payment is needed. Its app sells entries.

The operator's FAQ answers "Is WYN Sweep really Free?" with "No purchase or payment is required to win." The same operator's App Store listing prices 15,000 entries at $9.99. Both documents were live on October 3, 2026; here they are side by side, with the rules that hold both.

Disclosure: this site's publisher, Luck Incorporated LLC, operates Chance Infinite, a free-entry cash sweepstakes app that competes directly with WYN Sweep for the same players. Read what follows as one operator's publication examining a rival's documents, and check every quotation against the linked sources.

What the FAQ says

The FAQ page at wynsweep.com opens with three counters and then a list of questions. (On October 3, 2026, the questions displayed only at phone width.) The first is "Is WYN Sweep really Free?" The answer, in full: "Yes. You can enter every day for free. No purchase or payment is required to win." Further down, under "Can I get more entries?", the answer is: "Yes. You can earn additional entries through optional in-app features like daily rewards and bonuses." None of the answers mentions buying entries, an entry pack, a membership, or a price; the page's other mentions of a purchase are the "Is this gambling?" answer, "No purchase is required, and all entries have equal odds.", and a disclosure block below the questions that includes "A purchase will not increase your chances of winning."

The counters read "$12,500 Total cash given away each quarter.", "$2500 Total cash given away each month." and "$3,875 Total cash given away since launch." The homepage, at phone width, lists a schedule of $50 daily, $125 weekly, $500 monthly and $5,000 quarterly; the daily, weekly and monthly prizes come to about $2,500 in a 30-day month. The since-launch figure sits beside the monthly one, for an app whose Apple lookup record shows a release date of January 13, 2026. A second page on the same site, titled "Best Free Cash App Sweepstakes (2026)", repeats the quarterly and monthly figures but gives a different since-launch total: "$4,470". Neither page dates its since-launch figure.

What the App Store sells

Apple's listing for "WYN Sweepstakes Cash Giveaways" (seller WYN Sweep LLC, 18+, 259 ratings at 4.8, version 1.5.16 dated May 20, 2026) opens with "New $5,000 Quarterly Sweepstakes now open!" and ends that line with "Real cash. Real winners. No purchase needed." Its In-App Purchases section lists nine items: 500 Entries $0.99, 1,500 Entries $1.99, 2,000 Entries $2.99, 5,000 Entries $4.99, 10,000 Entries $7.99, 15,000 Entries $9.99, WYN Starter Membership $2.99, WYN+ Membership $4.99 and WYN Pro Membership $9.99. The description calls them "Optional Entry Packs" that keep "equal odds per entry." The nine items, prices, version and rating count all match our September 5, 2026 record (archived copy).

The Play listing for the same app (developer WYN Sweep LLC, 1K+ downloads, 202 reviews at 4.5, updated on May 20, 2026) says: "Whether you are looking for free giveaways or boosting your odds with entry packs, our platform ensures a level playing field." Further down it adds: "You can purchase entry packs or subscriptions to increase your total entries." The operator's terms, last updated March 2026, add that it "cannot issue refunds for marketplace purchases"; Apple or Google handle those.

What the rules say

The official rules, still marked "Last Updated: March 2026" on October 3, 2026, begin where the FAQ does. Section 2: "No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning." Section 5 then lists four ways to obtain entries. Parts A and B are free daily claims, the "Primary Entry Method", and optional ads or gameplay. Part C reads: "Where permitted by law, users may optionally purchase entry bundles." Part D covers optional paid memberships whose benefits "may include" automatic daily entry allocations and "Access to additional sweepstakes opportunities".

Section 9, on odds: "Additional entries increase the number of chances to win but do not affect the fairness or randomness of the drawing." Every entry is equal, and entry bundles may be purchased. The rules state both; the FAQ states only the first. Section 3 requires that entrants "Not reside in New York or Florida"; the sweepstakes is "Void in New York, Florida, and where prohibited by law." Section 1 names WYN Sweep LLC as sponsor without a postal address; section 17 gives only [email protected]. The rules contain no mail-in entry, no procedure for requesting a winners list, and no prize amounts, which are "awarded as described in the app."

What the state record shows

The Wyoming Secretary of State's business record for WYN Sweep LLC, filing ID 2026-001869320, showed on October 3, 2026 a domestic limited liability company, status Active, sub status Current, with an initial filing date of 01/16/2026 and no later filing in its history. Apple's lookup record gives the app a release date of 2026-01-13, three days earlier. The record lists the principal office and mailing address as 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, and Northwest Registered Agent Service Inc, at that address, as registered agent and organizer; the Play listing's developer address is the same suite. The rules and terms print no postal address. We describe the filing as the state presents it and draw no inference.

Whether the app is running

We could not test the app from here; what follows is what dated store records say. Apple's customer-review feed returned 49 reviews on October 3, 2026, the newest dated May 13, 2026. On Play, the full review list sorted by newest carries 12 written reviews dated after May 31, 2026, the newest dated August 23. Seven describe a product that would not start, let the reviewer in, or finish sign-up: June 1, "can't create an account"; June 9, "Unable to start the app."; June 19, freezing at sign-up; June 23, a four-star review updated to say "I can't seem to get back into the app"; July 10, "it won't let me in"; July 13, an updated five-star review: "it's been down since 5/31. they said they would be back as soon as they fixed the bugs." and "they haven't responded to inquiries"; and July 29, "you can't even create an account to start".

The other five are short: "good" (June 20), a reviewer still deciding (June 28), "luv it" (June 29), "so far it's been working like it says in the reviews" (July 9), and a single thumbs-up emoji (August 23). Store reviews are not a measurement. Read together, these twelve show some users reporting from June 1 onward that they could not get in, and at least one, on July 9, reporting the app working.

The developer's most recent replies on Play are dated May 24, 2026. One says the company "identified and fixed the setup/subscription issue that affected some users" and "attempted to process a refund"; the May 19 one-star review it answers reads, in part, "I purchased the subscription. very frustrating not to be able to use this app 4.99 wasted". On October 3, 2026 the App Store still listed every entry pack for sale. The operator has not published an explanation of the gap between its FAQ and its store listing, and beyond that reviewer's report, nothing we opened carries a statement from it on the app's status after May 24; this article will be updated if one is provided.

What is not publicly published

The FAQ says "We regularly announce winners and share payout confirmations." Both store descriptions point to winners shown inside the app. When we opened the homepage at phone width on October 3, 2026, the Daily, Weekly and Monthly tabs of its "Real Winners" panel showed images of winner cards (first name, state, prize, date), the newest dated April 1, 2026. The Quarterly tab reads "No Winners to Display", text fixed in the page; the September 5, 2026 archived copy, made before the third quarter ended, carries the same images and text, so that tab does not show whether a quarterly drawing was held. On the wynsweep.com pages we opened, we found no winner listing dated after April 1, 2026. From outside the app we cannot tell whether drawings have continued since May 31. The rules contain no procedure for requesting a winners list, and neither since-launch total carries a date.

What a player should do with this

Read the rules first, then the store listing, then the FAQ. Before paying for an entry pack, open the newest dated reviews on your store and look for a developer reply newer than May 24, 2026. Under these rules a purchase buys more entries, not a better chance for any one of them. If anyone contacts you about a WYN prize and asks for a fee, a wire or a gift card, do not pay; our prize-claim scams guide explains the pattern. We are not a regulator and we do not claim any law is being broken. The app is not ranked here; our reviewed, not ranked page explains why. Our PCH story covers another operator that sells entries.

Common questions

Is WYN Sweep free to enter?

The FAQ says yes: "You can enter every day for free. No purchase or payment is required to win." The official rules make free daily claims the primary entry method. The App Store listing for the same app also sells entry packs from 500 entries at $0.99 to 15,000 entries at $9.99 and three memberships at $2.99 to $9.99, none of which the FAQ mentions.

Does buying entries on WYN Sweep improve your odds?

Not per entry. The rules say each entry has an equal chance and that a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. The same rules say additional entries increase the number of chances to win, and the store sells additional entries. What money buys under these rules is more entries, not a better chance for any one of them. The rules add that memberships may include access to additional sweepstakes.

Is the WYN Sweep app still working?

We could not test it from here. As of October 3, 2026, both store builds were last updated May 20, 2026. Of the 12 written Play reviews dated after May 31, 2026, seven describe an app that would not start, sign in or finish sign-up, one saying it had been down since May 31, while one dated July 9 says it was working. The most recent developer reply on Play is dated May 24, 2026, and the Apple review feed shows no review after May 13, 2026.
